Summer

Summer has come and is almost gone, and I haven't posted a single picture.  Kade and I had a few fun trips this summer, but mostly we just worked and caught up with some good friends.  Since we live in Lehi we are a great stopping place for lots of people.  I don't think a single week has gone by that we didn't have someone staying with us.  It makes us feel like empty-nesters when everyone leaves.  Here are just a few pictures of our trips this summer.  The first trip we took was to Oklahoma.  My Great Grandma was turning 90 so we had a large family celebration.
This is my cute niece Abbi on our flight to Oklahoma City
My grandma and I were trying to decide if we should enter the wheel barrow race.  This was for the Prague 4th of July celebration.
It was fun to catch up with my Grandpa Reese.  He took Kade and I on a tour of all his land.  I loved getting to hear all his stories!
This is me navigating through "Fairy Land"  This spot is beautiful in the spring with the run off.  It just looked dead then, but sometimes it looks amazing.
Kade and I in the back of the gator just going for a ride.
I think this should be kade's new toy.  Doesn't my boy look Sexy on a tractor?
It has been so long since I have ridden a horse.  It was so fun to get to ride through the acres of land.
Kade was excited to go for a ride as well.
This is my Grandma going down our home-made slip and slide.  Baby oil and water mixed with a tarp and we had a ball.  The older kids just watched and took pictures while the younger cousins played.
These are three of my favorite people

Grandma Meemaw's 90th Birthday party!!
The whole reason we came down was for this wonderful lady.  Back to front: Arica, Brette, Kendle, Bari and Grandma Parrish or Meemaw.
This was our whole family that could make it to the party.

The party was held at the Oklahoma science museum.  It was so neat to see all the fun things on display.  There were a lot of space items.  Kade loved that since he is on a space kick.

We were also able to go see the Oklahoma bombing memorial.  This place was so amazing.  It was touching to see the monument that was created from such a horrible event.
